2nd Feb 2021 marks another successful journey for Dadvance Agarwood Solutions Sdn. Bhd. in the year of Ox where we had officially signed a Joint Venture Agreement to undertake an Agarwood inoculation project located at Semenyih with a total amount of 10,000 Agarwood trees spanning over 24 acres of beautifully landscaped land. With an average value per agarwood tree of RM 3,500 after harvesting, this project is projected to bring a total value of RM 35mil.
Brighter future ahead for Agarwood industry and to the underprivileged community
By expanding our agarwood inoculation joint venture into Klang Valley territory, our company hopes that we can reach out to more people living in the city and provide more education about Agarwood plantation and how agarwood plantation can prevent illegal logging.
As reported by Persistence Market Research “global Agarwood chips industry is forecasted to reach $US 64 Billion by the end of 2029. A surge in demand from regions such as the Middle East, Europe, and North America in the fragrance industry is growing at an exponential rate.”
Agarwood tree’s leaf, incense oil, and its root have been traditionally used for centuries in the medicinal field. Its medicinal properties are known to relieve spasms and pain, treat the digestive system, regulate the vital organs (heart, lungs, liver), and lower and redirect energy levels to support kidneys. It also helps to treat tightness in the chest, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, and asthma. In Feng Shui, Agarwood was recorded to have the aromatic scent attracting good fortune, auspicious omen, and banish evil spirits or bad luck.
With that said, with our 13 years of inoculation engineering and the proven result of producing up to 80% Agarwood resin formation per tree we are projecting in 10 years as per our company blueprint, we could maneuver back Malaysia as the top 3 Agarwood exporter and product producer in the world.
Also present was The Founder of The Giving Bank – Dr.Janson. “Charity is where we require help from good samaritans to raise money for those in need. But what we are doing now is to create self-sustainable funding for our charitable foundation and at the same time, to preserve our forest.”
